Programs

We offer a wide range of community events and programs for all ages throughout the year. Our goal is to foster meaningful connections through shared experiences that strengthen community spirit. By bringing people together for special events, children’s summer camps, youth development programs, adult oriented programs, and open houses, we create opportunities for belonging and unity.

These programs take place primarily at the Springbank Park For All Seasons, which offers a wide range of recreational, cultural and social gathering facilities to Springbank residents. The Park maintains strong partnerships with Rocky View County, the Government of Alberta, SPFAS user groups and numerous individual, family and organizational supporters.

These partnerships ensure the Society can successfully operate, maintain and enhance its facilities. Located in the heart of Springbank, the park welcomes organizations, families and individuals to come play, learn and socialize through a variety of activities, programs and community events.

Adult Programs

Our community programs help residents build lasting connections while supporting fitness, self-awareness, and overall well-being. A variety of programs are offered, including adult personal safety (Self-Defense) and social activities (Mom and baby stroller walk).

Book Club

The Springbank Book Club meets monthly. Please join us. You can make new friends and help build community with shared interests. Share your thoughts, insights and perspectives about the chosen reading materials through prepared questions through guided discussion.

Children’s Programs

Summer camps at the Springbank Park for all Seasons (SPFAS) - On-going now.

We offer six exciting weeks of summer camps designed for children packed with fun, friendship and adventure. Campers enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor pursuits including; STEM based projects (robots, technology, virtual reality), sports (soccer, baseball, volleyball, pickle ball), creative crafts, water play, and board games. Our camps offer the perfect balance of learning, play and building last friendships —all in a safe and welcoming environment at the SPFAS from 9-4 weekdays.

Youth Programs

Duke of Edinburgh Program (Ages 14-24) On-going

The Springbank Community Association is a registered Duke of Edinburgh Award Event Centre in Canada offering participants opportunities at three progressive levels; Bronze, Silver and Gold. This globally recognized program empowers youth to develop essential skills, stay active, give back to their communities, and embrace outdoor adventures. Through meaningful challenges and experiences participants grow in leadership, confidence, and resilience. All of this is done within a safe and supportive environment through our Award Leaders.

Promote your event by renting our billboard signs.

The SCA has four two -sided black billboards that can be rented by your organization to promote your upcoming event. The signs are strategically located throughout the community to inform residents of upcoming events and programs. The four locations include;

  • Across from of The Edge School on Township Road 250

  • Between the Elementary and Middle School on Range Road 33

  • East of the High School and SPFAS on Upper Springbank Road

  • West of 101 Street on the Upper Springbank Road

Send us your activity information: the event, date, time and location. Our billboards have 5 lines and 15 spaces/line. We post on all four of our signs located throughout Springbank for 2 weeks at a cost of $250.00 or $125.00/week.
