Canadian Parents for French (CPF) - Springbank Chapter

For those who are unfamiliar with Canadian  Parents for French (CPF),  it is a nation-wide group of parent volunteers whose mandate is to promote and support the French language learning opportunities for our children.  CPF-Alberta is the provincial body and has a wonderfully informative website: cpf-alta.ab.ca. Our CPF Springbank Chapter provides support on a local level to parents and children in the French immersion and Core French programs at our three Springbank schools. 

 We encourage all parents of children in the French immersion program to become CPF members, (only $25/year). CPF membership provides a means of supporting our children’s programs and to benefit from the support and resources offered to parents and children in these programs.  Membership forms are available on the CPF bulletin board near the front office, or by calling Carla Benner at 246-8401 or Hillaine McCaffrey at 288-1945. You may also get your membership online at www.cpf.ca – our local Chapter is Springbank #SJ 895.

Do you need labels for all your children's school and extracurricular supplies?  CPF-Springbank has an ongoing account with Stuck-On You, which provides high quality labels and other school supplies.  The website is:  www.stuckonyou.biz .  Check out all the neat labels and other stuff on-line, fill in your order and put “CPF-Springbank” under the heading “School/Camp Fundraiser”.  The labels will be shipped directly to you.  There is no time limit for ordering labels as this is an ongoing account for CPF-Springbank.  Brochures and order forms are also available on the bulletin board by the front office at the Elbow Valley Elementary school.
